Merlot Lana 2020 was produced from 100% Merlot grapes that were harvested by hand from an old vineyard on the slopes of the Yehuda Mountains, on the land of Emek Sorek. The win represents the special terroir of the Mate Yehuda wine region very well. After a long fermentation, the wine is aged for 12 months in new and old French oak barrels. The wine is fruity and complex, balanced wood flavor. The wine is good to drink now, and excellent to age for many more years under the right conditions.
